FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

We keep receiving lots of emails/queries about our products hence we have drafted these FAQ for quick response. Please read them & email us in case of any further questions.

• General - I love your site. Who is the web designer of your site www.mistofmoon.com? Can I hire services?
• Content development, coding & web site designing is done by my husband Prakash. This is purely a home project & he does not provide paid web designing services.
• General - What are current mode of payments?
• Domestic payments - You can pay by online bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) or PayTM Wallet. We are working towards enabling online shopping (credit card & debit card) & we expect to launch this after understanding applicability of GST (New Tax reforms in India).
  International payments - You can pay by online bank/wire transfer or Paypal. We will be adding international payment gateway.
• General - Can you deliver your products at home in India? Do you ship International?
• Yes, you will receive product delivery at your home by Fedex, DTDC or any trusted courier company serving your PIN Code. We can also ship International. Please contact us to discuss.
• Fashion - You have amazing fashion products. Can I see them in person?
• Not as of now. We do not have any boutique as of now. Please share your feedback. We may open a boutique based on feedback :).
• Cosmetics - There are hundreds of videos available to make soaps. Can I also make one? 
• Not hundred, There are thousands of videos out there. We write our ingredients openly for our customers so they know what they are applying on their body. You can also purchase & mix them to see what comes out. Key to our products is formulations. We have tested 80-90+ formulations for each of our product. Each ML of ingredient makes a difference in final product.
• Cosmetics - Do you make your own Cosmetics or just label them?
• We do not procure from others & paste our stickers. These products are made by us. Well, It's Made in India.
• Cosmetics - Do you take training classes to make cosmetics?
• No, we do not as of now.
• Cosmetics - We loved your products. Can you sell your formula? 
• No, Our products are Ayurvedic Proprietary formulations developed after 3+ years of research. We do not sell our formulations to individuals or multinational companies.
• Cosmetics - Do you sell in wholesale?
• Yes, We accept trade enquiries for retail & wholesale. You can also become our distributor or stockist. Please contact us to discuss.
• Cosmetics - Can you do Contract manufacturing or Private-label?
• We don't support any contract manufacturing or private labels. We do not support placing your company labels on products made by us. 
• Cosmetics - Can I use your products outside of India? Are you meeting guidelines of US/UK?
• Yes, We use certified raw materials. Our key ingredients are approved by US FDA (www.fda.gov). 
• Cosmetics - Is your product Vegetarian?
• Yes. Many well-known brands "featuring lovely actors" in advertisement :) add Lard/tallow in their cosmetics for better lather & creaminess without even mentioning them in ingredients list. Search on Google for "Lard" or "tallow" & decide if like to apply them on your body. We do not add any such ingredients. Our products are 100 % Vegetarian.
• Cosmetics - We see similar cosmetics (Goat milk, shea butter soaps) selling in market for Rs 250 per soap. Why is your product cheaper?
• We only add Goat Milk not the whole goat :). We are not sure if they also add pinch of Gold in it :). Most such manufacturer procures food grade oils (like olive, coconut, almond) used in cooking from local retail stores & use the same in making soaps. Such cooking oils are not for bathing. Our key to low cost is bulk procurement & we make sure that you get top quality product at affordable rates.
• Important - I am a lady/housewife & love your products. Can I become your distributor?
• Yes, We would love to support you or any female entrepreneurs. You can also EARN MONEY by selling our products. Please contact us to discuss in detail.
